Infection

Urine culture came back with results saying he has a bladder infection :( Lord only knows how long he has had this going on. That wasn't even why the test was ordered but they did a quick check at the doctors and it came back with white blood cells in it, so they just added it onto the pile. Sheesh! To top it off, the nurse that called us thinks he is on antibiotics now (she left a message and was just skimming our list not looking at the dates). I am soooooooooooooooo thankful I decided to hold off on giving Squirt his 18m immunization shots(he will get one at 24m and the other before kindergarten). Our doctor was very supportive and said we could wait it's not a big deal. There were some immunizations they would push(meningitis and he has had those) but on the others they were quite understanding.
I'm going to take him tomorrow to Children's for the blood work. We have a morning play/coffee date not too far from the hospital. In case you are wondering why I haven't taken him yet, he has been sleeping soooooo long during the day. I'm now thinking it's his poor body trying to fight off whatever is going on.
