Building

It is my fault.  I put the thought out there and now we have marked a pile of dirt.

We could always move.

We have kept an eye on Zillow just see what was out there for a few years.  Houses in our neighborhood were being sold like hotcakes.   Last spring, we went driving and looked at the for sale signs and we did something we had never done previously.  We never wanted to be tempted with things we just couldn't afford.  We stopped at the Richmond American Model homes and it changed everything.

This next part is what really set the plan in motion we went and looked at the models in the place we wanted to live.  We fell in love.  Unfortunately, they were sold out and were waiting on new lots to be released.  Flash forward to beginning of October when they had lots.  We went back and forth and back and forth.  B decided it wasn't a good time and we should stay put.  I completely agreed and to smooth over any hurt feelings we booked a cruise.

Flash forward to a couple of months ago. The neighborhood still had lots and we still had a desire to move.We made the jump and put down on deposit on a pile of dirt.  It is not real yet because we have not had to do anything but sign some papers and gamble with some money to lock down the lot.  I am still not sure if this whole thing will pan out but we are planning on enjoying the ride.....I think.

Back in the Saddle

Miss E wanted to see pictures of herself when she was baby.  Lo and behold, this was the easiest way to honor that request.  November 2013 was my last post.  Em was in preschool and C-man was navigating first grade.  We have made another trip around the sun, welcomed season changes, and played our parts in this thing called life.  I am once again going to try to do a better job of documenting the journey.

Such a Poser

We took Em to the Zoo.  She was such a delightful ham that day.

Steamboat

Over the summer we took the kids to Steamboat Springs.  We were lucky enough that Grandma Green and Chad joined us!  We had a lovely time hanging out, taking hikes, playing, eating, swimming, eating, eating, Fishing, and more eating.
