Little Man

I wish I could just bottle Squirt's energy. A few weeks ago, B and Squirt ran a mile. Can you take a guess which one would have kept going while the other was winded? We decided to put him in soccer and he loves it! It's called Pee-Wee Kickers and luckily it is at the indoor facility just around the block from us. He now wants to try swimming, gymnastics, and tee-ball while continuing playing soccer. So much for trying to put weight on him.

Endo Update

Squirt grew another inch and a half in the past 6 months which puts him at three inches for the year. He is not exactly on the charts as far as percentiles are concerned, but he is now following it. Awesome Dr. Kappy is happy with the results so far so we will continue with daily injections and reevaluate in August.
****Extended Update**** We got the full report in the mail from Dr. Kappy and in were the comparisons. Squirt is a 3.5 year old male his height is of a 2.2 year old and weight is of a 17 month old. If I remember right, in August his height was of an 18 month old and weight of a twelve month old......slightly took the wind of our sails but we are still very pleased with his progress.

Dr. Kappy He looks a lot like my dad.

On a side note, Children's seemed to be super, super busy today. Help me send a prayer to all the children and families that are there for whatever reason. THANKS!

Blanket Baby

My fluke picture turned out the best but, to me, anything with Miss Em is adorable! Now if I could only get her brother to cooperate...........just going to keep trying.

Have a few more to share but my computer is being difficult. So here is an outtake that I just love. Makes me think of babies from the 50's.

Estes Park

Last week, we got away from it all and headed to Estes for a few days. It was wonderful to just be with each other without any normal life distractions. We were able to get the best 3 bedroom condo on bonus time since this time of year is the off season.

I would love to have it in the summer time and have everyone come up for a weekend! We are right down from the Estes Park Brewery so we ate there more than we should have but their burgers are sooooo darn good. Some of the shops are closed but still plenty to look at. We stayed in the condo quite a bit and played games. Colin would just run, run, and run. He loved playing hide-n-seek but wasn't exactly great at it. He let us know exactly where he was hiding by yelling. Like I said, it was just wonderful to just be. Most of our pictures are of the condo....I am a dork :)
****In other exciting news (to me), Emmarie has started to roll. It is fun to watch her swing her little fat leg over only to become very disappointed she is on her belly.**********

The kitchen. It had B's exact coffee maker so it was OK by him.

Bedrrom #3. I will never understand the appeal of the twin bed thing for these timeshares.

Hot tub on the patio. The staff turned it down to 102 for Colin but he never got in. He was more partial to the bathtubs.

Excited to "swim"

Knight and Shining Boy

Yesterday we spent the day at the Hohnsteins (surprise, surprise) to watch the Superbowl. I am quite sad that Manning and his team lost yesterday. It was a fair fight and normally I would say good for the Saints but they played a little too dirty during the Vikings game......just my personal feelings :)

Anyway, while everyone watched the game, Colin and Aiden played. They play so good together we just let them go do their own thing where ever. After a little while, Colin went up to Jeanne and it sounded like he was asking for something to drink. He kept trying to repeat himself until he finally gave up and went back to where they were playing. It was about 15 minutes later that another friend looked down to where Aiden's room is and saw Colin hanging on the bathroom handle trying to open it. He yelled at us that our kid had to go to the bathroom. Then he looked down again and saw Colin taking a run in to the door trying to knock it down. At that point, Matt realised Aiden had locked herself in the bathroom and Colin was trying to get her out.
When he got the door unlocked, Aiden was in there trying to flush a box cutter down the toilet.........so much letting them go on their own.
