Estes Park

Last week, we got away from it all and headed to Estes for a few days. It was wonderful to just be with each other without any normal life distractions. We were able to get the best 3 bedroom condo on bonus time since this time of year is the off season.

I would love to have it in the summer time and have everyone come up for a weekend! We are right down from the Estes Park Brewery so we ate there more than we should have but their burgers are sooooo darn good. Some of the shops are closed but still plenty to look at. We stayed in the condo quite a bit and played games. Colin would just run, run, and run. He loved playing hide-n-seek but wasn't exactly great at it. He let us know exactly where he was hiding by yelling. Like I said, it was just wonderful to just be. Most of our pictures are of the condo....I am a dork :)
****In other exciting news (to me), Emmarie has started to roll. It is fun to watch her swing her little fat leg over only to become very disappointed she is on her belly.**********

Cute Luggage

Ready to watch a movie

The kitchen. It had B's exact coffee maker so it was OK by him.

Bath #2

Bedroom #2

Bathroom #1

Bathroom #1

Bedroom #1

Bedrrom #3. I will never understand the appeal of the twin bed thing for these timeshares.

Hot tub on the patio. The staff turned it down to 102 for Colin but he never got in. He was more partial to the bathtubs.

Excited to "swim"

She loves her princess play mat.

Ready to roll.

Being very lovey dovey.

Knight and Shining Boy

Yesterday we spent the day at the Hohnsteins (surprise, surprise) to watch the Superbowl. I am quite sad that Manning and his team lost yesterday. It was a fair fight and normally I would say good for the Saints but they played a little too dirty during the Vikings game......just my personal feelings :)

Anyway, while everyone watched the game, Colin and Aiden played. They play so good together we just let them go do their own thing where ever. After a little while, Colin went up to Jeanne and it sounded like he was asking for something to drink. He kept trying to repeat himself until he finally gave up and went back to where they were playing. It was about 15 minutes later that another friend looked down to where Aiden's room is and saw Colin hanging on the bathroom handle trying to open it. He yelled at us that our kid had to go to the bathroom. Then he looked down again and saw Colin taking a run in to the door trying to knock it down. At that point, Matt realised Aiden had locked herself in the bathroom and Colin was trying to get her out.
When he got the door unlocked, Aiden was in there trying to flush a box cutter down the toilet.........so much letting them go on their own.

Happy New Year

I actually planned on updating this on the 1st but I guess the 24th will just have to do. Everyone is doing great. Colin is a pistol. He is a little too obsessed with Monster Jam at the moment. We are constantly seeing Monster Jam shows. He digs the tickets out of his pants......oh, we are so proud!
Emmarie is growing like a petite, chubby flower. She is such a good baby. She is starting to giggle which makes our day.

Here are some pictures over the last couple of months. They are Emmie heavy only because she can't run away. Also, they are not in chronological order. I do the best with what time I have :)

City of Westminster's display. He loved the train.

Emmie's new swing.

So serious!

Before....there were no after :)

I love to dress her.

Watching a movie......courtesy smile.

Love a sleeping baby.
