Catching Up

Yikes! Happy Labor Day Weekend. Hope everyone has a wonderful and relaxing weekend. We've had a busy week. We had a small party (you'd never know it by the mountain of clothes and toys) for Squirt's birthday last Sunday. I am definitely not the most organized person in the world but I booked a park in January.....the rest came together last minute. Love parties, hate the detail work (like food, napkins, blah, blah, blah) :) Good thing the family knows what to expect when it comes to me planning.
Tuesday we went for another visit with Dr. Kappy, endo doc at children's. Squirt is growing and gaining weight. He is no where near being on the chart but he is starting to following the curve.

We will continue to monitor him every six months. Growth hormones may be addressed over time. Squirt makes the hormone that causes growth just fine. Giving him more would do nothing, but since he was small for gestational age, it might. It's another wait and see sort of thing. On a side note, I really enjoy Dr. Kappy even though our visits are brief. He is soooo warm and loving. He sang happy birthday to Squirt loud, off key, and joyous. Loved every second it!
We went to our ped Friday and they found him to be healthy all around. We don't have to go back for another well-check until he is three!!!!!!

Happy, Happy Birthday, Baby!

Two....really two? Squirt had a great day visiting Uncle Bubba at the firehouse and seeing the firetruck. Hanging out with Auntie and Carson at the zoo. Going out to eat with his Gaga and Papa (they share the same birthday), Uncle Nick and Vin. Singing and having some cake.
I think a lot about the day I had him but it feels more like a dream. A 2lbs baby seems impossible to me if that makes any sense. I'm so thankful, so thankful to have my little bear.

Daddy Dressing

This is how B dressed Squirt today. The preschool class I tried to get him in to started today but they were full........thank goodness. He starts in a different one September and I will make sure he is dressed or have an outfit out before I leave the house :)

In other news, our buddies are on their way to Vegas for a big pool tourney. Good luck guys. Hope you kick some serious a$$ and bring home the bacon. :)
