The Egg is in the Basket

Squirt had surgery this morning and it went great! He did so good. I can't even tell how easy this one was compared to the last three. I went back when they put him to sleep and he just smelled the orange gas and went snoozing. The last time he was fighting really hard and it was hard to see him that way. The procedure itself was slightly more complicated just because of the previous surgeries, but only took an hour and was a success.
When he woke, he was fighting but they quickly gave him some more meds and slept a little longer. When he finally woke he was a happy little camper. We are blessed.
Now back to my little man so I can kiss and squeeze him!

33 week check

Had an ultrasound and doc's appointment today. Kiddo is looking lovely in the 50 percentile. Woooo hooooo!!!!! Baby is head down, fluid, placenta and heart rate are perfect. She estimates the Kid is 4lbs 6oz and still packing it on. Crazy to think at 6 weeks we took Squirt home at a whopping 4lbs 3oz. Guesstimations are Baby will be between 6 and 7 pounds. I have one more ultrasound at 37weeks and 4 appointments until D-Day!
Can't wait to meet you, Little G!

#4

Squirt went for his urology check-up this past week. Overall everything is looking swell. His tissue is healing nicely and he doesn't want to mess with it for his *hopefully* last surgery on that area for as long as he possibly can. Squirt has taken to potty training this past week which helped out a lot to watch him pee and make sure nothing funky was going on. I can't tell you how many times we have tried to watch him pee over the past year just for this appointment. Nothing like waiting until the last minute, kiddo. :)
Now we did run into a little tiny snag at the appointment. Apparently one of his eggs is trying to leave the basket. I love when doctors put things in kindergarten terms for me :) His testicle is pretty high in his scrotum and those little nuggets must be low. It has to be fixed with another surgery. How soon you may ask? Oh, like the next 6-8 weeks. Doc asked if we had any plans during that time.....nah, just having a baby. It will be a quick fix. Less than an hour and it will happen at the end of the month.
I'm hoping little one will be content to hang out inside until September. We have too much happening this month for any more surprises.

29 Week OB

Squirt's still with Grandma having a blast. He is going to come home spoiled rotten. The only way she could bribe him to talk to me was to say he was going to go home if he didn't say hello.

Today I had an OB appointment. Got an ultrasound, took the lovely glucose test, and got my Rhogam shot. The ultrasound went well and everything looks good. Baby is in the 44th percentile and is head down at the moment. The doctor is going to schedule a c-section for September 24, but if I go into labor on my own before then, we will see how that goes. Yeah!

Now I am off to finish some stuff around the house before Squirt comes home.

Sneak Peek

Holy cow! It's the middle of July in case you weren't aware. :) We've been having a good time staying busy. At the moment, Squirt is with B's mom for the week having a great time being spoiled.......we sure do love her for that.

Tonight we went and had a little peek at the growing bean. Bean was not really cooperative and mostly in a canonball postition with its hands by its face. The ultrasound tech did his best to get bean to move and it did only long enough move back into its original position. It was a fun thing to do and makes me a little more excited to meet this person.

Here are a few gems!
